About Chris
Chris’s career started at the Christchurch City Council, where he was responsible for their three waters asset data in GIS. This grew into a secondment with SCIRT, to QA and handover all three waters asbuilt data for the Christchurch rebuild. In the following years he improved all facets of this data, with projects delivering automated asbuilt validation and processing, standardised data modelling, automated QA, 3D enablement and alignment of the network to survey data, and integration with asset management systems (SAP PM and InfoAsset).
Chris was also a core part of the Asset Assessment Intervention Framework (AAIF) team, an industry leading project which developed processes and tools to provide fast, auditable, and repeatable renewal and prioritisation projections for CCC’s three waters reticulation assets.
