Meghan is a Senior Transportation Planner, working across our Land Development and Strategy and Planning teams.

Meghan helps clients secure resource consent for their developments, creating quality technical outputs and developing great relationships with local authorities.

Meghan and her colleagues in Strategy and Planning also develop business cases to support infrastructure projects across New Zealand.

About Meghan

Meghan completed her BSc in Geology at Plymouth University in the UK, followed by a PGCert in Transport Planning at the University of Leeds, UK.

Beginning her career at WSP in the UK, she developed junction, microsimulation and strategic modelling skills. Meghan applied her modelling knowledge within a range of development planning, development control and strategic study projects, whilst also producing the technical reporting outputs.

Meghan has worked with a range of private and public sector clients including National Highways, Local Authorities and developers.

Before moving to New Zealand, she worked at Transport for London where she developed greater knowledge of public transport systems, service planning and business cases.

Meghan moved to New Zealand in 2022 where she joined Abley and has since worked on a range of Land Development and Strategic Projects.

Meghan is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility, both inside and outside of the transport sector. Currently Meghan is researching demand responsive transport as a solution to rural accessibility issues.

Outside of the office, Meghan loves live music and regularly attends gigs and shows around Wellington.
