Our team had been looking at getting some new polo shirts for a while, but struggled to find an option that met our brief – to look good, be environmentally-friendly, to be durable and comfortable to wear.
We recently came across LOOP Workwear, an innovative NZ company who create clothing using fabrics that follow sustainable production processes, to reduce harmful emissions from entering the environment.
With our ongoing commitment to measuring and reducing our environmental impact, choosing these polos for our team was another small step we have made to “do our bit”. With approximately 18 plastic milk and soft drink bottles used to make each polo, we have redirected 540 plastic bottles from landfill into our company polo shirts – that feels pretty good!
We figure every little bit helps make a difference. How many plastic bottles could your business divert from landfill each year?
