On 20 February 2020, Abley proudly joined other New Zealand engineering and architecture firms in making the ultimate commitment to diversity and inclusion, by becoming an official signatory of the newly launched Diversity Agenda Accord.
Steve Abley attended the official launch of the Diversity Agenda Accord at a major event in the Grand Hall at Parliament, which was opened by Hon Julie Anne Genter, Minister for Women.
The Diversity Agenda Accord is the next step and a key tool to achieving real behavioural change, with the personal responsibility from Chief Executives and business owners of Diversity Agenda members to be held publicly accountable for achieving truly diverse industries.
