Bridget assists central and local government to develop road safety programmes & projects that address road safety risk. More specifically, Bridget is involved in identifying and prioritising risk on the network, as well as designing interventions to make our roads safer.
About Bridget
Bridget completed her honours degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Bridget is a Member of Engineering NZ and is on the Waikato branch committee for the Transportation Group NZ.
Bridget joined the Abley in 2015 in the Christchurch office. At Abley, Bridget has assisted public and private sector clients to solve problems ranging from land development, strategy development, active transport, strategy & planning and road safety projects across New Zealand and Australia.
In October 2019, Bridget relocated to Hamilton where she works on key road safety projects for Waka Kotahi as well as the nationwide Manu Tāiko programme of road safety work with our colleagues from Beca.
Outside of work, Bridget is a passionate netballer with experience in netball administration, coaching, playing & umpiring.
