Lewis is a Principal Transportation Engineer in Abley’s Safe System Team.
He focuses on providing innovative new methods to achieve maximum reductions in fatal and serious injury crashes for any given project.
Lewis also integrates programming and geospatial applications to analyse large information sources and deliver a range of data lead options in an intuitive matter.
About Lewis
After obtaining his Engineering honours degree at the University of Auckland, Lewis started his career at Auckland Transport in the Road Safety Engineering Team. There he worked to reduce crashes across the Auckland region before coming to Abley to face road safety challenges on a national scale.
Driven by the opportunity to learn, innovate and save lives, Lewis believes that new technologies have created unlimited possibilities for improvements in the transportation industry and wants to use these opportunities to leave a lasting positive impact on the lives of New Zealanders.
His goal is to create a safer New Zealand transport system where small mistakes don’t have potentially life changing consequences.
