Lewis Martin

Lewis focuses on providing innovative new methods to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes in road safety projects. Lewis does this by integrating programming and geospatial applications to analyze large-scale information sources and deliver a range of data lead solutions.

About Lewis

After obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree at the University of Auckland, Lewis started his career at Auckland Transport in the Road Safety Engineering Team. There he worked to reduce crashes across the Auckland region before coming to Abley to face road safety challenges on a national scale.

Driven by the opportunity to learn, innovate and save lives, Lewis believes that new technologies have created unlimited possibilities for improvements in the transportation industry and wants to use these opportunities to leave a lasting positive impact on the lives of New Zealanders.

His goal is to create a safer New Zealand transport system where small mistakes don’t have potentially life changing consequences.
