About Subodh
Subodh did his Bachelor of Computer Science at Victoria university of Wellington.
He began his career at Victoria University of Wellington where he worked as a Research Assistant to update a ‘Post Earthquake Fire Simulation System’ for Wellington City Council.
Subodh later worked at Wellington City Council where he was looking after the entire GIS infrastructure framework. Subodh developed the Wellington City Council Web Map viewer and led the upgrade of ArcGIS infrastructure from Version 9.31 to Version 10.0
Subodh moved to the exciting 3D development company Nextspace Ltd. Subodh worked on range of 3D development projects such as LINZ Canterbury Recovery 3D Enabled City project and Nextspace’s 3D Asset Management System.
Before Joining Abley Subodh helped modernise the Geospatial development infrastructure for Auckland Council. He implemented the latest industry development framework.
Subodh was the Lead developer for the (LGFA Award winner) “Request for Service” ReactJS geospatial maintenance application for Auckland Council. This application is the council’s first Geospatial application hosted on the Azure cloud with full DevOps CI/CD based deployment.
Subodh joined Abley at the start of this year. He is the lead developer for the NZTA’s road safety application.
Subodh loves keeping up with the latest industry practices and technology. He loves developing in the application with latest frameworks like React and Angular and deploy them on Azure cloud.
