Matthew Noon, Principal Transportation Planner at Abley, worked in the Europe freight sector for 10 years, and recently had the opportunity to share his insights on the future of urban freight at the NZ Transport Fuels & Fleet Management Summit 2016. Delegates from over 100 organisations attended the two-day conference, which focussed on the increasing pace of change and opportunities facing the freight industry.
Congratulations to Abley’s Dale Harris and Dave Smith, and NZ Transport Agency’s (NZTA) Sonia Pollard, who were awarded Best Technical Paper for Asia Pacific from almost 300 papers at the 23rd ITS World Congress held in Melbourne recently.
Well done to Abley Transportation Engineers Bridget Southey-Jensen and Shane Ingley, who have had their abstracts accepted to present at the 2016 Trafinz Conference. The theme for this year’s conference is Communities, Growth & Transportation and will focus on how New Zealand communities can successfully manage the impacts of growth into the future, whilst delivering a safe and efficient transport system.
